We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator/Production Planner to join our Planning & Design Team based at our Head Office in Melrose Park. Initially focused on estimating tasks, we will develop your skillset, and the role will progress to undertake production planning duties. This role demands a highly organised individual who can build strong working relationships across the business and with external suppliers to drive accurate, timely outcomes. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Sales Team to prepare quotations. Calculating bill of materials and labour costs. Reading checklist and plans/drawings for non-standard furniture to prepare quotations. Drawing of furniture and producing detailed cutting lists for production. Ordering any necessary materials required for production. Requesting pricing from suppliers when required. Liaising with Salespeople and Production Supervisors on sales orders and quotations. About You Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. Excellent numeracy skills and confident calculating quantities. Adept communicator, able to build rapport and work effectively across teams. Able to read reading architectural and electrical drawings. Strong understanding of design and construction methods. Exceptional computer skills, experience with 3D CAD systems Pytha or equivalent is advantageous, but not essential. Knowledge of Wood Machining, Cabinet-Making and Joinery principles preferred, but not essential.
