We are seeking an experienced and reliable Workshop Boilermaker to join our team. Based in our workshop, this role focuses on the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of augers and associated equipment used within the civil and construction industries. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, works safely, and can operate independently while contributing to a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities MIG welding of steel components and assemblies General fabrication and workshop duties Repair and refurbishment of augers and drilling equipment Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications Cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembling steel components Conducting equipment inspections and identifying repair requirements Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Working to company quality and safety standards Skills & Experience Required Trade qualified Boilermaker Proven experience with MIG welding Strong general fabrication skills Experience repairing heavy equipment, augers, drilling equipment, or similar machinery highly regarded Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current driver's licence Essential Requirements Air-fed welding helmet (Air Fit) – essential Commitment to workplace health and safety Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required What We Offer $50 pens Overtime Stable, workshop-based role Well-equipped workshop and quality equipment Supportive team environment Immediate start available for the right candidate If you believe you are a good fit for this role, please apply and submit your resume.
