Our client is a busy and growing wheel repair business seeking an experienced Reception / Sales & Administration Officer to join our team. This is a fast-paced role within a predominantly male workshop environment. We are looking for someone who is confident, highly organised, able to multitask, and enjoys dealing with customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a critical role in coordinating bookings, processing sales, managing administration, and ensuring the smooth flow of information between customers and workshop staff. About the Role Reception & Customer Service Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner Respond to customer enquiries regarding services, pricing, and bookings Greet and assist customers attending the workshop Provide accurate information regarding repair services and turnaround times Deliver a high level of customer service at all times Bookings & Scheduling Schedule customers for rim repairs, refurbishments, and related services Manage daily workshop bookings and job scheduling Confirm appointments and follow up customers as required Coordinate workflow between customers and workshop staff Sales & Point of Sale Process customer sales and payments through the business system Issue invoices, receipts, and job confirmations Ensure all transactions are entered accurately and efficiently Identify opportunities to upsell products and services where appropriate Administration & Accounts Support Enter customer details, job information, and payments into the system Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, and general accounts administration Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and completed jobs Assist with daily reconciliations and reporting as required General Duties Maintain a professional, tidy, and organised reception area Support workshop staff with paperwork and job coordination Assist with general office administration duties Follow company procedures and workplace policies Work collaboratively with management and workshop personnel Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service, or sales Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment Sound computer and data entry skills Experience using booking systems, POS systems, or job management software (preferred) High attention to detail and accuracy A professional and confident telephone manner Personal Attributes Reliable and punctual Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities Confident communicating with a wide range of customers and tradespeople Positive, resilient, and adaptable Strong problem-solving skills Team-oriented with a willingness to assist wherever required What We Offer Full-time stable employment Supportive team environment Diverse and fast-paced role Opportunity to become an integral part of a growing business Competitive salary based on experience If you enjoy working in a busy environment, have strong customer service skills, and can confidently manage multiple responsibilities at once, we would love to hear from you.
