DFP Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Facilities Management professionals to support a large South Australian Government agency within their Facilities Management Unit. About the Role Working within a dynamic and high‑performing team, you will deliver a range of facilities and accommodation services to support a large, complex, multi‑site asset portfolio. The role combines hands‑on operational coordination with strategic facilities planning, ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facilities across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day facilities and accommodation services, including maintenance, repairs and site issues Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring work is delivered to agreed standards and compliance requirements Monitor and manage facilities operations, breakdown services and work programmes to support business continuity Contribute to and/or manage facilities programmes and projects, including maintenance planning and upgrades Undertake budget monitoring, analysis and reporting across facilities operations and maintenance activities Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on facilities‑related issues, risks and solutions Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across government and external providers Support strategic asset management planning, including lifecycle considerations and forward planning activities About You You will bring experience working in a facilities, property, or asset management environment, ideally within government or a large organisation. Key skills and experience include: Experience across facilities operations, maintenance coordination or accommodation management Strong contractor and stakeholder management capability Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Exposure to budget tracking, reporting or asset data analysis Well‑developed problem‑solving and communication skills Experience across multi‑site or portfolio‑based environments will be highly regarded Additional Information ASO5–ASO6 equivalent opportunity (level dependent on experience) Initial 6‑month contract, with potential for extension Adelaide CBD location Immediate start required Background checks will be required as part of the onboarding process DFP welcomes applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people with disability.
