Working closely with the Estimating Manager and Directors, you will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders, supporting junior estimators, and contributing to the successful delivery of commercial flooring projects across South Australia. The Role Working alongside the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and commercially competitive tenders while supporting the ongoing growth of the estimating team. Key responsibilities include: Preparing detailed quantity take-offs from plans, specifications, and tender documentation Pricing commercial flooring projects using MeasureSquare, Excel, and estimating software Reviewing project risks, buildability, and commercial considerations Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive submissions Liaising with builders, consultants, and clients throughout the tender process Responding to tender clarifications and supporting negotiations Mentoring junior estimators and assisting with team development Completing detailed project handovers to Project Managers following successful tenders Supporting continuous improvement across estimating systems and processes The Like Mind We are looking for an experienced estimator who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of construction and is looking to continue progressing their career. You will bring: 5 years' estimating experience within commercial construction Flooring industry experience will be highly regarded Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Experience using MeasureSquare, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software High-level Microsoft Excel and computer skills Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Excellent communication and relationship management skills The ability to manage multiple tenders within a fast-paced environment Why Join Next Gen Flooring?
