Open position We currently have an open position for a Yard Hand to assist our workshop team. About the role We need a reliable and punctual individual that is not afraid to get their hands dirty and undertake a variety of support tasks to keep our workshop and yard in top condition. This position is located in Green Fields SA 5107. Performing general odd jobs around the workshop and yard Cleaning incoming and outgoing plant and vehicles Sorting and organising incoming and outgoing goods including materials, site offices and containers General cleaning and housekeeping of the workshop and yard General gardening and cleaning of the garden areas Courier duties to site and suppliers for the collection and drop off of critical materials (a ute will be supplied during working hours for this) Moving materials and pallets with a forklift Key Criteria White Card Drivers License (mandatory) Ability to operate a manual vehicle Physically fit with the ability to undertake manual handling tasks Forklift license Good work ethic Willing to undertake a variety of tasks Team player Quick learner This would suit new school leavers that would like a position where they will have stable work, Monday to Friday - 7am to 3.30pm (penalties for overtime if required). No experience necessary but must have a good attitude to work and be willing to undertake general housekeeping tasks. Candidates must be physically fit with the ability to work both outside and inside a large shed. This role is for a Civil Construction company so understanding and adhering to construction safety requirements is a must.
