GMA Environmental Services is currently seeking experienced CCTV Operators, Hydro Excavation / NDD Operators, Combination Unit Operators and Water Jetting Operators to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, delivering works throughout South Australia. We maintain and rehabilitate wastewater, sewer, stormwater and drainage assets for water authorities, local government councils and similar industries. For the right applicants, we offer: • Permanent full-time operator positions • Training and development to enhance your skills • Very attractive remuneration with regular rostered callouts and ample overtime • Uniforms and personal protective equipment supplied • Long-term career opportunities in a highly in-demand essential services industry We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in: • CCTV pipeline inspection and reporting • Hydro excavation / Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) • Combination unit operations • High-pressure water jetting • Sewer and stormwater asset maintenance Applicants with MR or HR licences will be strongly regarded, especially for Hydro Excavation / NDD and Combination Unit Operator roles. Previous experience in hydro excavation, drain cleaning, CCTV inspection or working around underground services will be highly regarded, however on-the-job training will be provided to suitable candidates. Computer literacy is required for CCTV and field reporting roles, and training will be provided to successful applicants. The following current competencies will be looked upon favourably but are not essential: • Confined Space Entry, including BA & Rescue • OHS Construction Induction Card / White Card • Working Safely at Heights • First Aid • Traffic Control Skills and abilities required: • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team • Strong work ethic with a high focus on safety • Ability to travel when required • Ability to participate in a rotating after-hours callout roster • Willingness to learn and develop within the industry If you are hardworking, safety-focused and looking to build a long-term career in an essential and recession-resistant industry, this is an excellent opportunity.
