About the Role We are seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting processes. The role is responsible for managing month-end close, general ledger reconciliations and statutory reporting, while ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax obligations. Key Responsibilities Month end journals and month end close process Support external tax advisors with annual FBT calculation Consider impact of changes to AASB standards on accounting processes and inform management Pronto system administration including maintaining purchase officer tables and customer master data Support the development of vendor contracts Liaise with mine site supply team to resolve PO / Goods Receipting issues Prepare and review monthly BAS statements such as GST, PAYG, Fuel Tax Credit. What We Are Looking For To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills, attributes and experience: Degree qualified in accounting/finance 5 years? experience in financial roles Experience with Pronto XI and Power BI Exposure to resources sector (desirable). It will also be beneficial if you have: Industry certifications such as CA/CPA.
