All you have to do is get on board. Role Summary We are seeking a capable and technically strong Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate, compliant and timely financial reporting within a complex, safety-critical aviation environment. You will take ownership of the month-end process, support statutory and audit requirements, and contribute to strengthening financial controls and processes across the business. Required Qualifications & Experience : CA or CPA qualified (or near completion). Demonstrated experience managing month-end reporting within a medium to large organisation. Strong working knowledge of AASB / IFRS accounting standards. Experience preparing statutory financial statements and working with external auditors. Experience in aviation, engineering, resources or other complex, regulated industries will be highly valued and provide a competitive advantage. Strong ERP system capability, with advanced proficiency in enterprise financial systems (Workday experience particularly preferred). Key Skills & Attributes : Strong technical accounting capability with excellent attention to detail. High level of integrity and accountability in financial reporting. Ability to manage deadlines in a structured and organised manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commercial awareness and ability to translate financial data into practical insights. Collaborative and team-oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
