Current holder of Class C driver’s licence. Accountabilities include: Manage under supervision, projects or elements of projects and: Provide support and advice on the planning and design process, to ensure delivery of project outcomes, value for money and best practice are achieved; ensure all quality management procedures are adhered to and maintain effective liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the selection of the most suitable contract process for project delivery, then administer the contract to ensure compliance and successful delivery. Assist with the delivery of Road Maintenance Performance Contracts within the District to ensure time, cost, safety and quality requirements are achieved. Liaise with local government and service authorities to develop appropriate solutions to issues within the road network. Identify possible problem areas and negotiate modifications or adaptations to the design briefs where necessary to achieve acceptance. Determine appropriate bridge and road maintenance procedures, work instructions and manage road and bridge maintenance tasks. Calculate quantities of component materials, analyse test results for materials, identify non-conformances, determine the controls needed during construction, and conduct and manage risk assessment.
