Contract Administrator – 4 Month Contract | View to Extend High-End Commercial Fit Out Project | Immediate Start An opportunity has become available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a well-established commercial fit out contractor delivering a high-profile, high-end commercial fit out project. This is a contract position for up to 4 months, with a strong possibility of extension depending on project requirements and performance. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate. The Opportunity Working alongside an experienced Project Manager and delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the project as it progresses through its final stages toward completion. Key Responsibilities Administration of subcontractor agreements and contract documentation Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Assessment and processing of variations, progress claims, and payment schedules Cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management Preparation of monthly financial reports and project forecasts Management of RFIs, project correspondence, and contractual records Negotiation and management of subcontractor claims Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks Assisting with project close-out, defects management, and final accounts Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Ensuring contractual obligations and project milestones are achieved About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator with a commercial builder or fit out contractor Proven experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects valued between $5M and $20M Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management processes Experience managing subcontractor procurement, claims, and variations Excellent financial acumen and cost management skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline What's on Offer?
