Contract Administrator (8-Week Contract) – Residential Project Close-Out Location: [Project Location] Contract Duration: Up to 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Project Value: $20M Residential Development We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team on a short-term contract basis to assist with the successful close-out of a recently completed $20M residential project. This role requires a highly organised and proactive CA who can hit the ground running and support the project team through the critical final stages of delivery, including defects management, inspections, handover, and contract close-out activities. Key Responsibilities Manage contract administration activities associated with project completion and close-out Coordinate and track defect rectification works with subcontractors and consultants Attend and manage inspections with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities Prepare and maintain handover documentation, manuals, warranties, and compliance records Assist with obtaining Occupation Certificate (OC) requirements and close-out documentation Manage subcontractor final accounts and outstanding contractual obligations Ensure all project records are accurate, complete, and up to date Support the Project Manager in achieving timely practical completion and final handover milestones Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Contract Administrator on residential construction projects Demonstrated experience managing Occupation Certificate (OC) processes Strong experience coordinating inspections, defects management, and project handovers Sound understanding of Australian construction contracts and project close-out procedures Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proficiency with construction management and document control systems What's on Offer Immediate start available Up to 8-week contract assignment Opportunity to contribute to the successful completion of a significant residential development Competitive contract rate Supportive and experienced project team If you have a strong background in residential project delivery and can provide immediate value during the project close-out phase, we would like to hear from you.
