You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, insightful analysis, and supporting business leaders to make informed commercial decisions. Your Role & Responsibilities Reporting into the Finance leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounting, financial reporting, payroll coordination, and business analysis support. Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Co-managing the payroll function alongside an outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing Coordinating payroll activities including data validation, approvals, reporting, and employee query resolution Assisting with Accounts Payable activities including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payment runs, and resolving supplier enquiries Maintaining the fixed asset register across multiple entities Preparing cash flow forecasts and financial models to support business decision-making Developing and maintaining management reporting dashboards, including variance analysis and commentary Assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes Producing KPI reporting and providing detailed financial analysis on business performance Supporting month-end processes, financial reviews, and management reporting Maintaining the Chart of Accounts to support both statutory and management reporting requirements Assisting with financial reporting requirements and banking covenant compliance Supporting taxation compliance activities including GST, Fringe Benefits Tax, and other statutory obligations Partnering with external auditors and tax advisors as required Driving business improvement initiatives through analysis of sales, profitability, and operational performance Providing financial insights to support strategic projects, capital allocation, and resource planning Assisting with process improvement initiatives and continuous enhancement of finance operations Supporting broader finance functions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable when required Maintaining insurance registers and supporting risk management activities Ideal Candidate Profile To be considered successful in this role, you will possess the following: Previous experience in a Financial Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role Strong understanding of management accounting principles, financial reporting, and KPI analysis Experience assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes Exposure to payroll coordination and outsourced payroll environments will be highly regarded Sound knowledge of taxation requirements including GST and FBT Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong financial modelling capability Experience working with large ERP systems (Oracle experience highly regarded) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical business solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Additional Benefits Join a successful and expanding organisation with a strong growth trajectory Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence key business decisions Broad and varied role offering exposure across multiple areas of finance Supportive and collaborative team culture Ongoing training, professional development, and career progression opportunities Work for an organisation that genuinely invests in its people Competitive salary package reflective of experience Permanent full-time opportunity with long-term career potential How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
