Casual - 3 months Work for a large organisation Attractive hourly rate About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established organisation on an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension based near Moorabin Airport. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining the integrity of financial transactions, and supporting forecasting, budgeting, and statutory compliance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities General Accounting Manage accruals, prepayments, and general ledger maintenance Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions Complete balance sheet reconciliations Maintain integrity of financial records and transactions Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely management reports Produce Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting Meet corporate reporting deadlines Forecasting & Budgeting Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles Own SG&A reporting and financial consolidation Prepare P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet reporting Statutory Reporting Coordinate and manage company audit requirements Assist with financial statements and tax reporting Prepare BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT, and R&D tax requirements Treasury & Projects Manage cashflow activities and supplier payments Complete bank reconciliations and FX forecasting Support finance projects as required About You To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline CPA or CA qualification 6-8 years of experience in a similar role preferably within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment, would be highly desirable. The client is open to negotiating based on relevant experience and skill set. Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing environments preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving capability High attention to detail with a structured approach Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Previous people leadership experience advantageous What's on Offer?
