Account Manager – Fire Protection Services About the Role This role is ideal for an experienced account manager who thrives on building strong client relationships, managing service delivery, and ensuring high standards across fire protection contracts. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, ensuring obligations are met, issues are resolved quickly, and service delivery runs smoothly from end to end. You’ll work closely with technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate inspections, testing, upgrades, AFSS requirements, and project delivery. This position combines relationship management, service coordination, sales growth, compliance oversight, and project management — offering a varied, fast‑paced role with real impact. Key Responsibilities Manage and strengthen long‑term client relationships Act as the main contact for all matters relating to your client portfolio Coordinate service calls, breakdowns, inspections, upgrades and testing Support AFSS processes, planning meetings and consultant inspections Identify new business opportunities, upsell and cross‑sell services Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth Manage projects from planning through to completion Provide reports, financial updates and performance metrics Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements Prepare quotations, tenders and renewal proposals Assist with outstanding invoices and debt resolution Mentor apprentices or trainees when required Contribute to service division meetings and best‑practice improvements About You You’re a confident communicator with strong customer service skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly. You enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and managing multiple priorities at once. You’re proactive, organised, and comfortable working across both operational and commercial responsibilities.
