Our client is a well-established and respected business seeking an Accounts & Administration Assistant to join their small team based in Eagle Farm. This is a varied position that will see you working closely with the General Manager while also liaising with a larger finance team who sit at a different site. This role provides support across accounts and administration where no two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved across multiple areas of the business. Key Responsibilities include: AP including processing supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations AR, receipting and debtor follow-up Bank reconciliations and allocation of transactions Assist with journals and general ledger reconciliations Assist with payroll administration processes Assist with reporting and job costing administration Maintain accurate financial and administrative records Liaise with suppliers, customers, insurance companies and internal stakeholders Ad hoc office administration/ensure smooth run of the office About You: Previous experience in an Accounts, Bookkeeping or Finance Administration role Sound understanding of AP & AR processes Experience with reconciliations and finance administration tasks Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Solid basics with Excel Professional communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently This role would suit someone with a background in accounts administration, bookkeeping or finance support who enjoys working in a hands-on, varied position where they can contribute across both finance and administration functions.
