The Position Our client is a well-established national organisation seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their collaborative finance team. Working alongside an experienced finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer accounts are maintained accurately, payments are processed efficiently, and internal stakeholders receive exceptional support. Key Responsibilities Process and allocate a high volume of daily customer payments accurately and efficiently. Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and payment methods. Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and outstanding transactions. Maintain customer accounts, ensuring payments are correctly allocated and account records remain accurate. Respond to payment enquiries and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve account issues. Work closely with the credit team to support customer account management. Assist with month-end processes, including customer statements and reporting. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position, ideally within a high-volume environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
