This is an exciting opportunity to play a senior role in supporting Queensland's delivery of infrastructure for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As Manager, you will help strengthen portfolio governance, controls and assurance across the Games Infrastructure (Venues and Villages) division, supporting delivery of commitments under the 2032 Delivery Plan. Working in a complex, high-profile environment, you will contribute to best-practice governance, reporting, risk management, scheduling and quality control across major infrastructure programs. Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:- Coordinate the development, implementation and continuous improvement of fit-for-purpose portfolio assurance frameworks.- Support consistent and transparent approaches to governance, reporting, risk management, scheduling and quality control.- Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks and emerging issues, and provide recommendations to support intervention where required.- Develop innovative systems, processes and solutions that improve portfolio visibility and strengthen assurance oversight.- Prepare clear, timely and strategic advice, submissions, reports and written materials for government.- Build and maintain effective networks with internal and external stakeholders, including across multiple levels of government, industry bodies and business associations.- Support the division's engagement in strategic Games governance forums by ensuring representatives are equipped with timely and accurate advice.- Represent the division at departmental, interdepartmental and interagency meetings, forums and events as required.
