Our client is a fast-paced and iconic Australian design-led lifestyle brand headquartered in Melbourne, widely recognised for its premium, stylish, and sustainable reusable lifestyle products. Their busy in-house creative studio is currently experiencing a major peak in campaign activity and general overflow. With that, they're looking for an adaptive, proactive freelance Mid-to-Senior Graphic Designer to jump in and hit the ground running for an exciting short-term stint. We need a sharp, efficient, and highly experienced design all-rounder who can take a brief and execute it flawlessly with minimal supervision. This isn’t a role for overthinking or extensive hand-holding; it’s all about precision, fast execution, and bringing top-tier layout skills to a high-energy environment. You will step in from day one to support the studio manager and the creative team with a variety of design rollouts. If you are a seasoned freelancer who doesn't sweat a tight deadline and can deliver clean, beautifully formatted creative assets without needing to ask too many questions, you will thrive here. Key Responsibilities & Required Skills Because this is a rapid-fire support role during a busy campaign period, we are looking for a professional who brings the following to the table: Campaign Rollout Asset Creation: Taking ready-to-go briefs and seamlessly producing collateral across social media, digital assets, and point-of-sale (POS) requirements. Wholesale EDMs: Stepping into email applications to expertly format and improve wholesale EDMs. Exposure to Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform is a major plus. WHS Material: Assisting with the accurate layout and design of necessary work health safety requirements. Technical Layout & Typography: Exceptional eye for detail, outstanding typesetting, and robust artwork layout skills. Digital Bonuses: While not the core focus, basic experience with After Effects (like stitching still images into quick video assets) or the ability to navigate and view assets in Figma will set you apart. Logistics & Availability Timing: This freelance contract runs from 10th July through to the start of August 2026 . Hours & Days: Standard studio hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM , requiring approximately 7 hours per day. The required onsite working days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday . Setup & Equipment: A fantastic hybrid layout. You will work on-site at their South Melbourne office 3 days a week (though 2 days can be accommodated for the right candidate). If you are an efficient, reliable, and experience design operator who loves executing high-quality creative work, we want to hear from you. Please apply with your current CV and a link to your portfolio showcasing your exceptional layout, typography, and campaign rollout experience. Please note, while we would love to be able to get back to everyone, we will only respond to shortlisted applicants. This is a hybrid role so you must be based in Melbourne Australia with appropriate working rights to apply. Sadly, we won't be able to assist people based outside of Australia. A competitive daily rate applies for this role. To help manage applications, please no phone calls or DMs; apply here.
