18th June, 2026 Our client is seeking TWO experienced Valuations & Acquisitions Advisors to support a major infrastructure program within a large government environment. These roles sit within a high-performing property and acquisitions team responsible for delivering land access outcomes to support critical transport and infrastructure projects across NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for property professionals with strong valuation and acquisitions experience who enjoy working in complex, stakeholder-heavy environments and want to contribute to significant public infrastructure outcomes. About the Role You will be responsible for managing property valuations and supporting land acquisition activities in accordance with relevant legislation, policy, and governance frameworks. The role involves working closely with internal project teams, surveyors, legal stakeholders, and external landowners to ensure timely and fair acquisition outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Managing property valuations and acquisition processes, including complex cases Supporting compulsory acquisition activities in line with relevant legislation and policy frameworks Preparing documentation and submissions to support approval processes Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders including landowners and consultants Providing accurate valuation advice to support project planning and decision-making Assisting with cost estimates, reporting, and progress updates for senior stakeholders Ensuring all acquisition activities are conducted with probity and compliance Supporting effective communication with stakeholders on sensitive and complex matters About You We are looking for candidates with strong experience in property valuation and/or acquisitions, ideally within government or infrastructure environments. You will bring: Tertiary qualification in Property, Valuation or related discipline Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) or equivalent professional accreditation Strong experience in property valuation and/or acquisition activities Knowledge of compulsory acquisition processes and relevant legislation (e.g. Just Terms Compensation Act) Experience working in government, infrastructure, or regulated environments (highly regarded) Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to manage sensitive conversations with landowners and internal stakeholders Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Key Requirements Experience in land valuation and acquisition for infrastructure projects Understanding of statutory acquisition frameworks and government processes Ability to interpret and apply legislation in practical scenarios Strong communication and negotiation capability Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Role Details Contract role (initial 6 months with potential extension) Full-time hours (approx. 35 hours per week) Hybrid working arrangement with regular office attendance required Sydney-based (multiple office locations as required) Immediate start preferred Competitive daily rate (based on experience) If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply today.
