Melbourne | Hybrid (3 days on-site) Safety Advisor We're partnered with a leading enterprise organization undertaking a significant safety transformation program. They are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a business-wide safety uplift initiative focused on strengthening safety practices, improving compliance, and driving positive safety outcomes across the organisation. Working closely with the OH&S Project Manager, this role will play a key part in implementing safety initiatives, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring safety programs are effectively embedded across operational teams. What you'll be doing: Support the implementation of key safety improvement initiatives across the organization. Assist in driving safety programs and activities aligned with the broader safety uplift strategy. Monitor progress against project milestones and support successful program delivery. Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating workplace hazards and risks. Support compliance with relevant OH&S legislation, standards, and internal policies Support incident investigations and root cause analysis activities. Track corrective and preventative actions through to completion. Identify opportunities to improve safety processes, systems, and ways of working. Partner with operational leaders and frontline teams to promote a strong safety culture. Deliver safety communications, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives. Support stakeholder engagement activities across multiple business functions Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation. Assist with preparing safety metrics, dashboards, and leadership reporting. Support governance activities by tracking risks, issues, and action items. What we're looking for: Experience in a Safety Advisor, OH&S Advisor, HSE Advisor, or similar role. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and best practices. Experience supporting safety improvement, compliance, or organizational change initiatives. Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Well-organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
