About the Role We are currently seeking a Full Time Food Services Cook to join our dedicated hospitality team at St John’s. In this role, you will play an important part in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that are both enjoyable and tailored to individual dietary needs. Working closely with the Chef Supervisor and broader care team, you will help deliver a positive dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus and dietary requirements Ensure all meals are presented to a high standard and delivered on time Maintain compliance with food safety standards and infection control practices Support menu planning and accommodate special dietary needs (e.g. texture-modified diets) Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising waste Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment Work collaboratively with the hospitality and care teams About You Previous experience as a Cook, ideally within aged care, healthcare or a high-volume kitchen Understanding of special dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets (highly regarded) Knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling practices Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for cooking and enhancing the lives of older Australians Reliable, team-oriented and able to work across a rotating roster Why Join Respect?
