About You : Certificate 5 in Arboriculture Senior first aid White Card Position Summary : As a Consulting Arborist , you will collaboratively work with the team to carry out operational duties according to business company guidelines and procedures. You will ensure that all tasks are carried out using the correct equipment and safety procedures outlined. The purpose of the Consulting Arborist is to provide realistic tree management advise that aligns itself with Arborcraft’s core values, this being cost-effective, professional and realistic tree care. in addition you will provide tree impact assessments, tree survey’s, preliminary tree assessments, Key Requirements : Minimum 5 years at an operation level in the arboriculture industry Knowledge in plant maintenance and usage in arboricultural practices Ability to work safely & promote safety in the workplace Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Experience dealing with customers, clients and members of the general public. Attention to detail Problem solving skills Adaptability and Flexibility Job Responsibility : Managing the co-ordination and participation in daily toolbox meetings, risk assessments and equipment maintenance Managing customer relations, ensuring customer satisfaction. Following and negotiating client’s requirements as directed To participate in tree inspections and survey reports where necessary Applying knowledge of tree biology for effective tree maintenance alongside councils approval requirements To undertake a role in selecting plants and designing landscape schemes and complete herbicide treatment for works as directed To assist all persons when / where possible in a courteous and helpful manner at all times.
