We are seeking a talented Environmental Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to environmental management, sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance activities. Responsibilities Conduct environmental assessments and reviews for mining and resource projects to identify potential environmental risks and ensure compliance. Develop, implement and maintain environmental management systems, policies and procedures in accordance with recognised standards, including ISO 14001 and responsible mining frameworks. Evaluate environmental data, technical reports and monitoring results and provide recommendations to minimise environmental impacts. Prepare environmental documentation and support the development of mitigation strategies. Coordinate environmental compliance activities, including regulatory reporting, permit applications and approvals required. Liaise with government authorities, auditors, consultants and other stakeholders to facilitate environmental approvals, certifications and compliance obligations. Support the development and delivery of environmental awareness to promote responsible environmental practices across the organisation. Contribute to environmental planning processes by identifying environmental constraints, monitoring environmental performance and providing technical advice to management. Provide advice on environmental legislation, regulations and industry standards. Conduct environmental audits and compliance reviews. Develop and implement solutions to alleviate identified environmental issues. Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated experience in environmental management, environmental compliance, sustainability or consulting environments. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
