This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced billing professional, Legal Assistant or Accounts Officer ready to specialise, to step into a dedicated billing role within a structured and supportive environment. About the Role You'll work closely with the Practice Manager and Billing team , supporting a national practice group with end-to-end billing processes. This is a collaborative role within a well-established billing function , offering strong systems, support and clear processes. Key Responsibilities Generating, reviewing and issuing invoices to clients Managing billing queries from lawyers and internal stakeholders Preparing documentation and obtaining billing approvals Allocating trust monies and managing disbursements Supporting billing cycles and ensuring deadlines are met Working closely with the Practice Manager and wider billing team Who You'll Be Working With You'll support a high-performing Disputes & Recoveries team , working alongside experienced billing professionals and legal staff. The team is known for being structured, collaborative and supportive , with clear processes and strong internal systems. Who Will Fit This Opportunity? We're looking for a detail-driven professional who: Has experience in billing within a law firm or professional services environment Ideally experience using Aderant Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail Can manage competing deadlines and billing cycles Is confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels Works proactively and enjoys process-driven work This role is also suited to Legal Assistants looking to transition into a specialist billing career path .
