Global Financial Services Group – Newly Created Leadership Role Our client, a leading Global Financial Services Group specialising in investment management, is entering a significant growth phase and is seeking an Investment Operations Manager to lead core operational functions and support upcoming transitions and new fund launches. This newly created permanent role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who thrives in high‑growth environments, enjoys managing teams, and excels at building strong operational controls, improving processes, and ensuring seamless delivery across investment operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will drive operational stability, uplift, and continuous improvement across the investment operations function. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership — Lead day‑to‑day investment operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strong control environments. Workflow Oversight — Oversee daily processes including valuations, reconciliations, reporting cycles and exception management. Transitions & New Fund Launches — Coordinate operational readiness for new client transitions, onboarding, and new product launches. Issue Resolution — Lead the resolution of reconciliation breaks, pricing discrepancies and operational queries. Team Leadership — Manage a team of 10, ensuring capability development, performance management and a culture of operational excellence. Regulatory & Statutory Reporting — Oversee the preparation and review of regulatory filings, financial statements and compliance reporting. Risk, Controls & AML — Maintain strong operational controls and ensure compliance with AML and regulatory requirements. Experience & Skills Strong background in investment operations, unit pricing, valuations or custody operations. Experience managing regulatory, statutory and tax reporting. Solid understanding of valuation processes, operational risk and control frameworks. 5 years’ experience in financial services (investment operations, unit pricing, custody or related areas). Proven ability to lead teams, manage offshore resources and run complex operational workflows. Experience supporting transitions, onboarding and operational change initiatives. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders.
