Our client, a leading company in healthcare services, is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to cover a 12 month term, working in their busy payrolling department. Reporting to the Senior Manager, your duties will include; Duties Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes and employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations. Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations. Ensures the timely processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll, including liabilities such as workers compensation, PAYG and superannuation payment. Responsible for overseeing the calculating and processing of pay increases, back pays and termination payments. Performs end of year processes Skills and Experience Experience in payroll administration and the use of payroll software/systems Ability to process records quickly and accurately, with an awareness of the policy and legal implications.
