The position is pretty straight forward; BAU payroll processing of a medium sized payroll team using ADP Payforce, collaborating closely with the Payroll Manager and other team members. ROLE SCOPE INCLUDES: Running the end to end payroll processing on a timely and accurate basis, which includes: Accurate on-boarding of new employees in consultation with the People function Preparation and payment of employee salaries, incentives, reimbursements and termination payments, and the calculation of relevant deductions Preparation of termination calculations in consultation with People function Preparation of State and Federal tax obligations including PAYG tax, Payroll tax and Superannuation Guarantee contributions, and support the delivery of the FBT returns Implementation of best practice payroll processes and controls to ensure a robust control environment in accordance with policies Supporting the provision of proactive advice and guidance to assist employees and team leaders regarding employee awards, legislation changes and changes in policies Resolving payroll inquiries in a professional manner Attend education sessions on payroll legislation updates Filing and archiving of payroll information Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Develop and maintain relationships with the business and establish acceptable service levels and turnaround times Proactive business partnering to support the employees and the HR team with the relevant information as required ABOUT YOU: Minimum of 3 years end to end payroll experience ADP Payforce is essential!
