Medical Imaging Clinical Assistant As a Medical Imaging Clinical Assistant, you will play an important support role within a fast-paced, patient-focused Medical Imaging Department. Key Responsibilities Assist Medical Imaging staff with patient preparation, transfers, positioning, and imaging examinations. Coordinate patient flow to support efficient service delivery and timely patient care. Monitor electronic worklists and maintain accurate patient information across multiple systems. Support communication between Medical Imaging staff and liaise with clinical, nursing, operational, and administrative teams. Assist with equipment setup, stock control, and maintaining clean, safe, and organised examination rooms. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive patient experience throughout their visit. Assist with general departmental duties to support daily operations and workflow efficiency. Essential Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Desirable Skills Previous experience in a healthcare, radiology, or medical imaging environment. Cannulation (IV insertion) skills are highly regarded and will be viewed favourably. Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital information systems.
