About the role: We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist with experience in PACU / Recovery to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 64 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no weekends or public holidays, Christmas/ New Year off Duties and responsibilities: This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Lead and drive the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care Using advanced clinical skills, guide the team on relevant standards, policies and training assist in the management of team rosters, workloads and delegation of tasks supporting the GM/ DON in quality activities and procurement Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift About You: You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have: Solid experience in Recovery PACU nursing in a perioperative setting.
