The duties of the role will include performing a range of tree maintenance, horticultural and some civil construction activities. Tree planting, pruning and removals Grass cutting, edging, slashing Weed eradication Garden bed maintenance including landscaping, planting, mulching, pruning, fertilising and irrigation maintenance Concrete maintenance works of footpaths, cross overs and kerb including general labouring Sanitation activities including blowing, bin and bus stop cleaning, footpath cleaning, litter and illegally dumped waste removal Paving Bitumen works Installing signs Driving a range of trucks including sweeper truck, water truck and weed spray unit Operating a variety of handheld power tools or machinery Enough about us—let’s talk about whether this role is for you! - Are you a team player, with the skills to work to detailed instructions without direct supervision? - Do you have hands on, demonstrated experience in carrying out similar Activities? - Are you a friendly and polite person with a Can-Do Attitude? - Do you can communicate effectively with customers, team and other staff members? - Do you have a certificate III in Horticulture, Civil Construction and/or Arboriculture? - Do you have a certificate in Traffic Control or Temporary Traffic Management? - Do you have a MR License?
