About the Role We are seeking an experienced garden maintenance worker / landscaper to join the team at Garden Needs. The role will become a full time position for the right person, based in Somerton Park, SA. As a key member of our gardening & landscaping team, you'll be required to work well with the team, take & respond to instructions whilst having leadership & being able to work independently. What you'll be doing Performing all aspects of garden maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, mulching & fertilising Lawn rejuvination ie, scarfying & coring Planting & maintaining a variety of plants, shrubs & trees Identifying & addressing any pest or disease issues in customer gardens Preparation & installation of both natural & synthetic turf Maintenance & installation of irrigation systems Provide excellent customer service & communicating with clients Ensuring a safe & tidy work environment at all times What we're looking for At least 3 years experience in gardening and / or landscaping Knowledge of plant & garden maintenance techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail & a commitment to high quality work Good physical fitness & the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions A valid drivers licence (MR Preferable or willingness to obtain immediately) & reliable transportation About Us Garden Needs is a leading installer of natural turf & irrigation systems as well as garden maintenance of commercial & residential properties in SA.
