We're looking for an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to jump into our team, roll up their sleeves and “get it done” to help us provide even BETTER levels of support to our customers, our co-workers and everyone in our team. Electrical disconnect/reconnect license will be highly regarded. Laundry equipment repair experience will be highly regarded. The Role: Based out of our Welshpool head office, on the day to day you’ll be travelling throughout the Perth Metro area to service and repair commercial and industrial laundry equipment in our customers locations. As suppliers of commercial laundry equipment, most of our customers are businesses including accommodation, healthcare and student living etc – so you don’t need to worry about taking payments, invoicing with minimal working in private residences. Field Service Technician, Equipment Repair Agent, Appliances Repair Technician – no matter the title, it all means the same thing to us; reliably getting our customers laundry equipment back up and running as quickly as possible, with as little downtime, and as few costs as possible. While you’ll mainly be on the road in the Perth Metro Area, some days you’ll be working in our service workshop fixing machines, other days you will have the opportunity to travel remotely throughout W.A to repair laundry equipment for our rural and regional customers – but every day you’ll be expected to keep our customer front of mind. Key Responsibilities: Repair and service of commercial laundry equipment to get it back up and running asap. Including diagnostic works, fault finding, troubleshooting and repairing/replacing parts as required. Preventive Maintenance works on commercial and industrial laundry equipment to reduce down time. Installation of commercial and industrial laundry equipment Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to our customers, keeping them in the loop and up to date, thinking out of the box for solutions, and always offering expert advice with a friendly smile. The Person We’re Looking For: Customer First Focus: In everything you do, your customer is front of mind; you can point to google reviews where you’ve been name dropped for your incredible customer service. You’re the kind of person who goes above and beyond to ensure customer and co-worker satisfaction. Detail-Oriented: You understand wiring diagrams and tech sheets like the back of your hand. Not only do you find a fault, but you know the best way to get it fixed to minimise customer downtime. Organised and Efficient: Driving around with a van load of parts, you know exactly where each part is and what job it is for, your tool kit is always organised and ready to go to get problems solved. Technically and Mechanically Switched on: Plumbing, Gas, Electrical, Mechanical you really do have to be across them all when servicing commercial washers and dryers – electrical or gas licences while not necessary would get you to the top of our pile. Excellent Communicator: You know incredible communication is how to keep customer relationships running smoothly– no matter how you are communicating, you are clear, concise, provide benefit to the customer and always do it with a positive tone.
