PTE Group is a well-established manufacturing business based in Welshpool, specialising in custom built ute trays, truck bodies, trailers and heavy transport equipment for major clients across Western Australia. Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Body Builders / Fabricators / Welders to join our busy heavy fabrication workshop. This role suits someone with experience building truck trays, truck bodies or trailers who takes pride in producing quality fabrication work. Key Responsibilities Fabrication and assembly of truck trays, truck bodies, trailers and heavy transport equipment MIG welding to a high standard Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling components Completing work to production deadlines Maintaining job paperwork and workshop documentation Operating workshop equipment safely Assisting with repairs, modifications and fit outs Working independently and as part of a team Maintaining a clean and safe workshop Skills & Experience Required Experience in truck body building, trailer manufacturing or heavy fabrication Experience using workshop tools and machinery Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable with a strong work ethic Able to work in a fast-paced workshop environment Forklift licence highly regarded Experienced 3rd or 4th year apprentices encouraged to apply Full working rights in Australia What We Offer Immediate start available Competitive hourly rates Overtime opportunities Stable workshop based work Progressive manufacturing company Welshpool location Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
