Our state government client is seeking a Benefits Realisation Lead to join their team. Your new company The Benefits Realisation Lead plays a critical role in monitoring and evaluating the organisation's programme progress against its strategic objectives.Working within a complex, multi-stream programme, this position is responsible for assessing performance against a suite of defined success measures aligned to the program’s key goals. The role provides both short and long-term analysis of programme performance, ensuring progress is clearly tracked, risks to benefit realisation are identified early, and insights are effectively communicated to senior stakeholders. As the programme transitions from design into staged delivery, this role will be instrumental in ensuring consistent, high-quality reporting across multiple moving parts and timelines. Your new role Develop and implement frameworks to measure and report programme outcomes against defined benefit streams and success measures Monitor, assess, and report on progress across approximately 70 measures aligned to the organisation's strategic goals Deliver accurate and timely monthly benefits reporting, including identifying and escalating risks to benefit realisation Analyse both short-term progress and long-term outcomes to support informed decision-making Collaborate across multidisciplinary programme teams to gather, validate, and track performance data Proactively follow up on outstanding or incomplete information to ensure reporting integrity Contribute to the evaluation of scope changes and their impact on expected benefits Support integration of benefits management within broader project management and governance frameworks Prepare high-quality reports, briefing notes, presentations, and updates for senior stakeholders Clearly communicate complex performance information in a structured, simple, and accessible way What you'll need to succeed Experience working on complex programmes Strong analytical and numerical capability, with experience working with structured data, metrics, and performance tracking Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple data streams, timelines, and reporting requirements Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex information and present it clearly for different audiences Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to collaborate across teams and follow up effectively to obtain required data Well-developed written communication skills, including preparing reports, briefings, and presentations Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving ability, including identifying risks and recommending solutions What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
