About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing technology team delivering modern cloud and data transformation initiatives. This role will focus heavily on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and will involve designing, developing and maintaining scalable enterprise data solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to support reporting, analytics and broader business intelligence capabilities across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data solutions Develop and optimise enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Azure technologies Build and maintain integrations across multiple internal and external data sources Support reporting and analytics functions through high-quality data engineering practices Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions Ensure data quality, governance, performance and reliability standards are maintained Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across development and production environments Contribute to cloud transformation and modernisation projects Technical Requirements Expert-level experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ADLS Gen2 and Azure Synapse Analytics Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark for large-scale data transformation Advanced SQL skills with strong SQL Server management experience High proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation Experience designing and maintaining scalable cloud-based data pipelines Familiarity with Power BI to support reporting and end-user data consumption Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and modern cloud architecture Exposure to AWS, Snowflake or other cloud technologies is highly regarded About You Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently and within collaborative team environments Passion for modern data technologies and continuous improvement Experience working within enterprise or transformation-focused environments preferred By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
