Simm Group is a privately owned company encompassing a large and diverse number of businesses and assets throughout Western Australia and overseas. The core businesses include: Northfleet (the largest fleet provider in the Pilbara), Running with Thieves (a boutique brewery and distillery) located in Fremantle and Henderson, Salt and Oak (a refined whisky bar and coastal eatery) in Perth , Tanah Mympi (A luxury private island resort) located in Indonesia, as well as various motor vehicle, real estate and other asset holdings. We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the Group’s Hospitality arm of the business. This role will pay a critical role in managing infrastructure, supporting venue operations, driving system improvements and ensuring cybersecurity and compliance. Key Responsibilities: IT Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with Simm Group growth plans Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and integration Systems & Applications Management Oversee and optimise business-critical systems across all venues, including: POS systems (e.g. OrderMate, Lightspeed, H&L or similar) Reservations & guest platforms (e.g. SevenRooms, OpenTable, NowBookIt or similar) Finance/ERP platforms (e.g. Xero, MYOB, NetSuite or similar) Oversea device endpoint management & endpoint security Collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint) Infrastructure & Security Manage network infrastructure across venues (Wi-Fi, POS networks, cloud environments) Maintain cybersecurity frameworks, including data protection and incident response Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning Operational IT Support Lead or coordinate IT support across all locations Ensure fast resolution of system outages impacting venue operations Manage vendor relationships and service providers Projects & Implementation Lead system rollouts, venue openings, and upgrades Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations Skills & Experience You are a commercially minded IT professional with strong operational capability and the ability to work across multiple business units with: At least 10 years proven experience in an IT Manager or Senior IT role Experience supporting multi-site hospitality, retail or similar environments (desirable) Experience working with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365) Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices Vendor and stakeholder management experience To apply for this position, please submit your current resume and an a cover letter outlining your suitability for this position.
