ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking a full-time HR assistant. This role will initiate, maintain, lead and implement the critical training and assessing the training and compliance needs of Western Meat Packers Group. The role will also assist with Human Resources personnel on an ad hoc basis to support the Human Resources Department. The position is mainly office based at our Osborne Park facility. Key Accountabilities: Support injury management and workers comp return to work program. Develop skill gap analysis and training needs analysis in consultation with Supervisors and Managers to create annual training plans for the Group. Managing the design and delivery of internal learning programs i.e., new starter induction and other critical learning and training resources. Source and management external training funding, programs, and providers. Working closely with RTOs to initiate and manage WMPG’s trainee, apprentice, and work experience program. Maintain employee skills and qualification database. Coordinate with department managers to improve work instructions. Support the HR Department with general administrative duties. ABOUT YOU Required Skills & Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role Knowledge of Meat or FMCG Industry will be highly regarded. Experience in Human Resources. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels in the organization, identifying learning and development solutions and implementation. Strong interpersonal skills Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
