The Duties and Responsibilities - Prepare surfaces for painting using equipment such as high-pressure washing machine, grinding, sanding and scraping for painting - painting internal and external surfaces by selected and prepared paints to according to required colour, thickness, level of opacity, finish, texture, and sheen - Professionally using all forms of brushes and roller nap types, using appropriate techniques and handling painting materials. coatings, cleaning solvents, fillers and adhesives, coverings, barricades, signs, hazardous materials and waste in line with SWMS and Safety Data Sheets - Repairing related work on existing painted surfaces - Applying stains, varnishes, and clear coating - Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting jobs - Have professional knowledge in painting interiors and exteriors of commercial and residential properties, understanding paint types, surface preparation, mixing paints & colour matching, and extensive experience in applying paint with brushes, rollers, or spray guns for desired outcomes - Overseeing the painting process to ensure quality standards are met - Leading and managing the painting projects according to project specifications and complete the work independently and co-operate - Ensure complete each project in an efficient and timely manner as our company’s royalty to our customers - Work with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers and collaborate with other professional workers - Identifying the occupational health and safety and following established OHS procedures - Might required to attend project site meetings if applicable Requirement: - Certificate III in painting and decorating - Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial painting - Ability to identify workplace hazards and not place self at risk - Proven attention to detail - Ability to meet deadlines - White Card General Information: Full Time Position Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 If you believe you have the right set of skills and attribute for this position, please send us your resume by our email faceliftrenovations.com.au
