As a result of a secured engagement with one of our National Security partners, Helix requires a Test Automation Engineer to join us on a long-term contract. We're looking for a Test Automation Engineer with proven experience of solving complex problems, who thrives working as part of a team to push boundaries and is passionate about leveraging technology to produce world-class outcomes for critical federal government organisations. The Test Automation Engineer key requirements & responsibilities: Formulate testing strategies and prepare a project testing plan that encompasses the full range of tests from unit, functional and user testing, leveraging automation wherever feasible. Coordinate testing activities across several cross-functional technical teams to ensure all components developed in the project meet agreed project requirements Analyse, review and report on test outcomes and metrics as well as ensure all defects are identified and tracked via project configuration management Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager, etc) to ensure the highest-level quality are achieved. Provide advice and assistance to other developers as the test automation SME. 3 years’ experience leading a test team, including using modern testing tools and techniques. Strong background developing and delivering test automation (i.e. Ansible, GIT) Experience developing test plans for both infrastructure and software applications.
