Site Manager – Construction (Canberra) About us Nikias Diamond is a family-owned, Canberra-based construction company with decades of local experience. We deliver projects that are unique in character and sympathetic to the ACT and its surrounds, continuing a legacy of contribution to the local industry since the 1960s. The role We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of quality commercial and residential projects. This role will initially be based on a multi-unit Class 1 residential project commencing August 2026, with ongoing employment beyond the completion of this project. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations, trades and subcontractors Maintain WHS compliance and conduct regular site inspections Oversee quality of works, defects and site documentation Coordinate short-term programs, site logistics, materials and access Liaise with clients, consultants and the internal project team Foster a positive, safe and collaborative site culture About you Cert IV / Diploma / Trade Qualification / Degree in Building & Construction (or similar) 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager / Site Supervisor Proven experience delivering multi-unit residential & commercial projects Strong supervision, safety, quality and program management skills Confident reading drawings and solving problems on the spot Clear communicator with the ability to get the best out of trades What we offer Full-time role with a stable, reputable local builder Supportive team and strong safety culture Salary range negotiable depending on experience
