Mid-Level Automation Tester (Playwright experienced) Milestone IT is currently partnering with a premier healthcare client seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Automation Tester to join their Quality Engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of critical health claims systems and patient-facing applications. We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong foundation in Java/Selenium but is eager to leverage or transition into Playwright for modern web automation. Your experience in complex environments, such as those involving SQL database validation and API testing, will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright (transitioning from Selenium/Java) to ensure high-quality software delivery. Healthcare Domain Testing: Perform verification of health claims and benefit programs, ensuring data integrity and functional accuracy. API & Database Testing: Execute Manual and Automated API testing (Postman/Rest-Assured) and perform complex SQL queries to validate backend data and session stores. CI/CD Integration: Utilize Jenkins and Git/GitLab for continuous integration and deployment, moving the team toward a more mature DevOps model. Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and work closely with Product Owners and Developers to identify edge cases and technical risks. Defect Management: Identify, record, and track bugs through JIRA, providing detailed documentation to facilitate swift resolutions. Required Skills & Experience Experience: Approximately 4 years of experience in Software QA, with a proven track record in both Manual and Automation testing. Technical Stack: * Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver . Experience with Playwright (or a strong desire to master it quickly). Strong SQL skills for database testing (MySQL preferred). Familiarity with TestNG, Cucumber, Maven , and Postman . Methodology: Solid understanding of the Agile delivery methodology and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
