Warehouse Lead – Pet Wholesale Products Location: Yatala, QLD Full-time Position – 38 hours per week Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for warehouse operations? We're seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our dynamic team at our pet wholesale products facility in Yatala. In this role, you'll be leading from the front, guiding a small team, overseeing daily tasks, and ensure smooth operations to keep our warehouse running at its best What you’ll be doing: Supervise and mentor a small team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time Oversee scanner order picks, ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched Be actively involved in the daily picking and packing process, setting the standard for your team through hands-on leadership Manage stock control and inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels at all times Coordinate freight bookings and liaise with carriers to ensure timely deliveries Assist with forklift unloading/loading and ensure manual handling procedures are followed for safety Collaborate with the Customer Service team to provide excellent service and greet customers collecting orders What we’re looking for: Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader (12 months) with excellent people management skills Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing (picking, packing, and inventory control) Forklift licence (required) Physically fit and able to handle products up to 25kg in weight Strong organisational and planning skills with a keen attention to detail Solution-oriented, resilient, and able to work well under pressure Excellent communication skills to lead and collaborate with team members and other departments A natural leader who sets a positive example, leading by action and fostering a motivated, team-focused atmosphere What’s in it for you: Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Work-life balance with set hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM Fridays Stable, full-time role with career growth opportunities Supportive and friendly team environment where your contributions truly matter A health and safety-first culture, including adherence to manual handling procedures If you’re someone who leads by example, is not afraid to get hands-on, and is ready to take your career to the next level, we’d love to have you join our team.
