Xzibit designs and builds exhibition stands and museums for clients across Australia. We're hiring a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to run day-to-day operations and lead a small crew across our two Luscombe warehouses. Reports to: Operations Manager (Expo) Location: Luscombe, with some travel to Brisbane and Gold Coast Hours: Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend or evening load as part of a shared roster What a typical day looks like You start on the floor with the crew, two or three team members - checking what's going out and what's coming back. One day might be a display heading interstate and a corporate stand returning from a Sydney show; the next is prepping framing for a Gold Coast install. You'll work alongside the team on picking, packing, and loading, then walk both warehouses to check stock - client inventory, our exclusive framing system, hire furniture, and exhibit flooring. Items get inspected, cleaned, and made ready for the next job. You'll talk to the Production Manager about anything that needs repair, flag what to reorder, and keep the Operations Manager across priorities and issues. Between the physical work, you're on the system updating trackers and signing off on outgoing jobs. Mid-afternoon there might be a truck to load for an early bump-in. No two days look exactly the same, that's part of the appeal! Why join us The work is varied and real. One week you're prepping for a cocktail event for a major brand, the next for an outdoor multi-day event - projects you can point to and say we built that. The crew is capable, and the kind of people who back each other when it counts. Because we're a small team, what you do is visible and it matters; good work gets noticed and trusted with more. We invest in our people, practical training, room to take on more as you're ready, and a leadership team that listens. We also believe in enjoying the job. Friday afternoon drinks, regular darts tournaments, and a culture where people turn up for each other are part of what makes Xzibit well, Xzibit. What you'll be doing Team leadership.
