Key responsibilities: End to end management of legal Trust accounting, including invoicing, receipting, and the payment of file related and business expenses Preparation and lodgement of BAS statements, and assistance with external accountant requirements, financial reports, and audits Daily reconciliation of all accounts, including: 1. Trust Account 2. General Office Account 3. Reserve and Loan Accounts 4. Multiple business credit cards Ensure strict compliance with legal trust accounting and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate financial records and provide reports as required by management and external advisors. Hold a current ABN and be registered with the Tax Practitioners Board, with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience. Demonstrated legal and trust accounting experience is essential. Experience with Actionstep and Xero Accounting packages would be an advantage. We are located in Perth CBD officed based with the possibility of working from home flexibility. Annual salary plus superannuation, commensurate with experience. Part time – 20-25 hours per week, 5 days per week with flexible working hours eg.10am to 2/3pm Expected start in June 2026 with handover. Reporting to the Partners in the firm.
