Nook Tiny Homes is one of Australia’s leading modular and container home manufacturers based on the Gold Coast. We currently have a large fabrication backlog and are looking for an additional welder/fabricator to join the team immediately. We’re flexible for the right person and can offer: Full-time employment Part-time work Contract / subcontract arrangements Flexible hours if needed The work primarily involves fabrication and modification of shipping containers for high-end modular homes including: Structural steel fabrication Framing and reinforcing container openings Welding window and door frames General fabrication work Reading plans and working with the production team What we’re looking for: Someone who takes pride in their work Reliable and able to work independently MIG welding experience essential Fabrication experience preferred Forklift ticket an advantage but not essential Trade qualified or near qualified considered We already have a full-time welder in place and need another capable person to help increase output and keep fabrication moving. This role could suit: An experienced fabricator looking for steady work Someone wanting flexible hours A subcontractor wanting ongoing consistent work A recently qualified welder looking to step into a full-time role Competitive rates available depending on experience and arrangement.
