We are seeking a Dental Assistant with strong interactive and communication skills who can engage with patients and is able to perform reception duties. The suitable candidate will have outstanding infection control and administrative abilities, be reliable and comfortable working in an environment where attention to detail is a priority. We are involved with detailed dental procedures. This is an owner operated practice located in Woden, near the Westfield and bus interchange. This modern specialist practice is dedicated to the care and management of patients with complex dental problems. This role is working an 8-day fortnight. No late nights or weekends. You will complete a range of varied tasks, including: Exceptional patient care working within a very structured environment Strict adherence and compliance with sterilization and infection-control procedures Chair-side assistant during periodontal and implant surgery General reception and administration duties About you You are honest, show initiative and able to demonstrate empathy with a gentle/caring clinical manner. You must be comfortable assisting in a small team environment . In addition, you will have: Ability to comply with sterilization, safety and infection control measures Collaborative approach Competent computer skills Flexibility and willing to assist in all areas of the practice Professional work ethic About us Redgum Periodontics and Implants is a referral based specialist dental practice.
