We're looking for people who think outside the box and are keen to join our Infrastructure team. Providing support to our security services to all manner of customers, from Government to small, medium and large private industry. What you'll be doing You'll be joining a small, skilled team that's focus is on maintaining our back end infrastructure, which underpins our security services. You'll be primarily working across automation stacks, using Git workflows. Key areas of the role are: Managing a large fleet of Linux servers. Contributing to the uplift and security of the baseline SOE image in-line with the ASD ISM. Implementing new and novel ways to manage and secure infrastructure. Working in a small, focused team. Working across other technical teams providing support on complex infrastructure issues. What're we looking for? Required Outside of the box attitude to problem solving and securing our customer environments. 3 years of experience in an IT role (or equivalent study). Experience in Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Git workflows. Experience in administering and securing Linux operating systems. Experience in observability stacks, including Grafana, Elastic, Prometheus. Knowledge of container stacks, including Kubernetes and Docker. Willingness to learn and adapt to new and emerging ways of operating. Understanding of basic networking concepts. Australian citizen. Baseline clearance, but we may be able to support no clearance requirement depending on the applicant (sponsorship is mandatory). Nice to have 3 years of Linux administration experience. 2 years of automation tools experience. Cloud automation experience. SIEM management experience (Elastic/Splunk/Sentinel). Security Engineering experience. Negative Vetting 1 clearance or above. What do we offer? Working from home? You bet.
