Location: Canberra ACT Role: Senior Project Scheduler / Schedule Management Support Contract: 12 12 12 Month Contract Start Date: 1 July 2026 Security Clearance: Minimum NV1 Required The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Schedule Management professional to support a strategic Defence agency delivering one of the largest defence capability transformations in Australia. Working within a mature PMO environment, you will support integrated master scheduling, schedule governance, dependency management, and reporting across a highly complex technical program. This role will suit candidates with strong Defence project delivery backgrounds who are comfortable operating in secure and highly governed environments. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage integrated master schedules and supporting schedule artefacts Coordinate schedule baselines, dependencies, and planning windows Deliver strategic schedule reporting, analysis, and schedule health checks Support work package development and schedule integration activities Conduct schedule risk and impact analysis across complex program environments Mentor junior project staff and schedulers Work closely with stakeholders across technical and program delivery teams Provide ongoing schedule updates and monthly progressing activities Skills and Experience Strong Defence or major Commonwealth program experience Demonstrated experience managing complex project schedules within PMO environments Experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP) highly regarded Strong understanding of schedule governance, dependency management, and risk analysis Ability to operate effectively in highly secure and fast-paced environments Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Security Requirements Applicants must : Be Australian Citizens Hold a current NV1 Security Clearance minimum Be willing to undergo additional suitability and security processes if required Why Apply?
