Job Description Role: Principal Health and Safety Location : Weld Range, Western Australia FIFO ex-Perth Roster : 8/6 Type : Permanent, Full-time We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Principal Health and Safety to continue the development of FENIX mine safety management systems across mining operations in Western Australia. This is a strategic role focused on risk integration, Critical Risk Management maturity, contractor management, psychosocial risk management, and assurance. You will operate at a high level and provide visible, values-driven leadership across operations. About the Role Reporting to the HS Manager, you will: Implement and Lead continuous improvement of the Mine Safety Management System (MSMS) Build and maintain the Enterprise Risk Profile, integrating business and operational risk Lead Critical Risk Management (CRM)frameworks, tools and verification programs Develop and oversee the Contractor Management System Embed Psychosocial Risk Management into operational systems Lead a structured Safety Assurance Framework(audits, critical control verification, performance analytics) Partner with operational leaders to strengthen risk ownership and leadership capability Drive simplification, digitalisation and data-led safety improvements via MYOSH What You Bring 8 years’ HSE experience in mining or heavy industry Demonstrated experience in MSMS and Critical Risk frameworks Proven ability to influence operational leaders Strong knowledge in AS 480001 system thinking Passion for inclusive leadership and building diverse teams Qualifications Tertiary WHS / Risk qualification required. WA statutory qualifications highly regarded.
